MagnaFlow Heads North - Overland Expo PNW 2022
Team MagnaFlow recently loaded up the trailer and headed up the coast to Redmond, Oregon for Overland Expo Pacific Northwest 2022. It was a fun, relaxing weekend, with tons of entertainment and awesome sights for overlanders of all stripes.
Products, Lessons & Ride-Alongs
Our display area featured a couple of thoroughly customized Jeeps, a Wrangler TJ and a Gladiator, each equipped with MagnaFlow performance exhaust systems. In addition to these off-roading stalwarts, we also had a tricked-out, MagnaFlow-equipped Bronco on display, rocking a standout sticker patterned wrap and a bright blue paintjob to match its mighty King off-road shocks.
With over 300 other exhibitors showing off their latest and greatest products there was plenty to see and do. Probably the most popular events held at the show were the various ride-along experiences, such as the Fox Experience Off-Road Ride Along, which involved taking various Fox shocks upgraded rigs for a couple spins around a set off-road handling course, first with an unloaded vehicle at standard suspension settings, followed by a loaded down vehicle with the suspension adjusted to compensate.
The Bronco ride-along proved to be another big draw, as many attendees had yet to get up close with one. Moto riding and maintenance lessons were also available for those interested in off-roading on two wheels.
Consulting the Experts
The educational aspect of the show went beyond riding lessons and ride-along experiences, with every day featuring different classes headed by instructors and experts on various aspects of the overlanding lifestyle, such as off-road driving. In fact, stay tuned to our YouTube channel for an exclusive interview with Mylo Fowler, who was one of this year’s experts.
Mylo is a renowned National Geographic photographer and contributor whose class at the show was focused on “The Power of Adventure Photography.” We enjoyed chatting with him about his work and the MagnaFlow-enhanced Nissan Titan he takes along on all his various adventures.
